Wedding Attire, Weather, & AccessibilityThe wedding is a formal event, with the ceremony held outdoors and the reception on a covered patio overlooking the lake. Both spaces offer open airflow.
Weather Expectations: Fall in Colorado’s high country brings stunning autumn colors and mild daytime temperatures, typically in the mid to upper 60s. However, evenings can be chilly, often dropping into the low 30s or below freezing. September is known for its beautiful foliage and breezy conditions, so guests should dress in layers and pack accordingly. Ceremony Location & Accessibility: The ceremony will take place on a scenic overlook above the lake, a short walk from the lodge parking lot via a sloped gravel trail. Heels are not recommended. AV transport will be available for guests who need assistance reaching the ceremony site. |

Grand Lake offers amazing opportunities for hiking, boating, scenic drives, local dining, and more – but we want to hear from you!
Please share your ideas and preferences with us so we can plan a couple of activities that will make these pre-wedding days as memorable as the big day itself. We can't wait to make memories and celebrate with our favorite people!
Saturday on the Lake:
For those interested, the wedding party will be booking a few pontoon boats for some time on the lake Saturday, September 20. Those interested in joining, please reach out to Matt or Jess to ensure your spot on the boat!
